Open source law - co-design workshop & debate
Age of Wonder. Workshop and debate led by David Marín

Can we design an operating system for a future civilization that behaves coherently as a living organism? A system that will manage all needs and resources in the most efficient way? A system that is constantly up dated, adjusted and tested. A system that can’t be hacked, and is developed in a truly democratic way by its users.

The governments of nations should be the most efficient and advanced systems to ensure the preservation of life and the development of the human potential. But the institutions and systems employed are thousands of years old, and many times fail to consider that there are some important differences between the technological society of today and ancient societies. The purpose of this workshop is to explore these ideas, starting from a model that will be used to trigger the discussion.

This project is an initiative by Baltan Laboratories and Hivos, developed as part of Age of Wonderland for the Dutch Design Week 2014. More info
